Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the '47 Universe, the Night Elves are the result of Rift energy experiments on human test subjects - the most unsettling part is that the subjects were most likely volunteers, as their military discipline remains intact even after their transformation. They move unnaturally fast, have enhanced reflexes, and can even temporarily transform to a limited extent. Unlike other Axis Rift creations, they wield regular weapons and fight with conventional tactics. They specialize in infiltration, ambushes under the cover of darkness, and movement through the most difficult terrain.

Einsatz im Spiel

The Nachtalben Squad with StG 44Z is the Rift-Tech upgraded vampire variant: 5 Nachtalben with Rift-Tech assault rifles, LMG, and Panzerschrecks. In the game, Nachtalben act as close-combat specialists with special rules such as Fast/Tough/Vampire Bite (healing in close combat). The Rift-Tech armament complements their close-combat effectiveness with dangerous mid-range fire - ideal for aggressive Axis lists with shock units.
