On the tabletop

A single spot magnet only holds a large model in the middle, whereas this cut-out grips across a 45 mm diameter. It is intended for round 50 mm bases with a hollow bottom and fills the recess with hard foam and magnetic sheet to about 0.2 mm above the rim. The pack holds three, and none of them needs a hole in the base. The large single model then stays upright in the transport box.
