This set contains six 12mm/1:144 scale M10 Wolverine Tank Destroyers and a decal sheet. The M10 was based on the M4 Sherman chassis and combined a 3-inch M7 gun with a turreted anti-tank platform for US tank destroyer units.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

The M10 Wolverine, officially the 3-inch Gun Motor Carriage M10, was the most numerous American tank destroyer of World War II. It utilized an M4 Sherman-based chassis and carried its 3-inch M7 gun in an open-topped turret. Its combination of mobility, anti-tank armament, and revolving turret made it a central vehicle in the US tank destroyer doctrine. Despite more powerful successors, the M10 remained in service until the end of the war. Vehicles of this type were also supplied to Allied forces.

In the game, the M10 Wolverine 12mm is primarily an anti-tank or tank destroyer option. The model is most effective when controlling fire lanes and threatening enemy vehicles at range. In Epic Battles, it should be used with cover, positional play, and concentrated fire.
