    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The up to 24 legionaries in mail represent the infantry of the Late Roman army after the reforms of Diocletian and Constantine. Armed with spear and spatha they stand in the shield wall, hurling plumbatae at the enemy before contact. Two kinds of standards and plenty of heads give you several command groups. The same figures also serve as armoured warriors for Goths, Burgundians, Franks, Saxons or Romano-Britons.
