Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

These 20 plain metal scuta have neither embossing nor a leather cover, the basic form of the legionary's shield. Use them to re-equip a unit of your Hail Caesar legion, replace lost shields, or paint them and apply shield designs of your choice. Set edge to edge, these shields formed the solid wall and the testudo with which cohorts advanced.
