Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The P-2 is the He 111 version with Daimler-Benz engines and the asymmetric glazed cockpit, as flown at the start of the war. In 1:72 it is built from 151 parts, and the decal sheet offers markings of 5./KG 4 and 6./KG 55. Over England in 1940 it became clear that its speed and defensive armament were no longer enough. You can build it as a display model or set it beside the later H-6 to show how the bomber developed.
