    Background & context

    On the tabletop

With its glazed nose and elliptical wings, the He 111 H-6 in 1:72 is instantly recognisable. The kit contains 180 parts and three markings, among them KG 26 at Bardufoss in Norway and KG 100 in Greece, both from 1942. The H-6 was the most produced version and served as a bomber, torpedo aircraft and minelayer. With a 312 mm wingspan the display model needs room on your shelf, and in a diorama it suits an airfield on the Arctic coast.
