Product details

Background & context

Red, white and blue have been the colours by which British formations are recognised ever since the Union Jack, from regimental colours and the Royal Air Force roundel to the pennants of the Royal Navy. In wargaming the same combination has survived as shorthand: whoever has blue and red in front of them is playing the British or a Commonwealth side without anyone needing to say so.

On the tabletop

In the Gemini casting of this block, blue and red swirl into each other, with the pips in white. That gives the twelve 16 mm dice the colours of the Union Jack, also seen on regimental colours and the roundel of the Royal Air Force. Use them as the pool for British or Commonwealth troops, and everyone at the table knows who is rolling without a word.
