Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Six MG 08s and nine crew build up to three German machine gun teams of the First World War. Half of the guns can be mounted higher, for instance behind a trench parapet or a bunker embrasure. In games an MG 08 covers a whole sector with fire, but it is heavy and moves slowly, so you set it up early in a good position. Headgear from Pickelhaube to steel helmet, all also with gas masks, adapts the teams to the years 1914 to 1918.
