    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The 48 German infantrymen in 1:72 scale represent the bulk of the Wehrmacht, which marched on foot while only a small part was motorised. In a diorama they man trenches and positions or follow the tanks. The German infantry section was built around its machine gun, which is also how you arrange your units for a 20 mm gaming table. The figures come unassembled and unpainted, so you add the paints yourself.
