Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The Dauntless dive bomber flew from US Navy carriers and island bases in the Pacific. Airfix offers it in 1:72 with 51 parts and two paint schemes. At Midway in June 1942, Dauntless squadrons sank four Japanese carriers in a single day. The perforated dive brakes on the wings are typical of the SBD. The model adds to your Pacific War collection alongside carriers, ships and fighters in the same scale.
