    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

With a 400 mm wingspan, the 1:72 Skytrain is a large model built from 142 parts. One of the two markings shows Kilroy is Here of a troop carrier squadron that took part in the Normandy landings from Upottery in Devon on 6 June 1944. The second belongs to the MATS air transport service and stood on an Arctic airstrip in Canada in 1949. With 20 mm paratroopers alongside, you can recreate an airfield before the drop.
