Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Douglas Bader lost both legs in an accident in 1931 and returned to the cockpit on artificial legs. In the Battle of Britain he led a squadron and championed the Big Wing tactic, in which several squadrons attacked together. In Blood Red Skies you put his Hurricane, with ace card, ace skill card and trait card, at the head of your British formation, ideally as part of a large wing. In 1941 he was shot down over France and taken prisoner.
