    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The Tiger Moth was the trainer on which British and Commonwealth pilots took their first flying lessons. In 1:72 the 42-part biplane is small, but aligning the wings and rigging calls for care. The two markings are unusual: an aircraft flown by an American fighter group in Suffolk in 1943 and one of the Australian navy from the post-war years. You can put it in the display cabinet or at the edge of an airfield diorama.
