Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Three frames carry 63 round shields of 14 mm diameter for early medieval warriors such as Vikings, Anglo-Saxons or Normans. The surface around the boss is smooth so you can paint a pattern, the same for the whole warband or different for each man. The back shows wood grain and a grip, and a hole takes the figure's hand. A row of these shields can also line the side of a longship.
