    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

In 1:48 this P-40B clearly shows the short nose with the Allison inline engine that marks the early versions. With 106 parts, the cockpit and undercarriage get more detail than in the smaller scale. Both schemes on the decal sheet carry the shark mouth that No.112 Squadron of the RAF introduced in North Africa in 1941. You can build it as a display model for the cabinet or place it on a desert airfield in a diorama.
