    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    In the Konflikt '47 universe, the USA spearheaded the development of Tesla weapons as a new class of armaments - and the British government secured early access to these developments. The highly specialized Galahad units, elite armored infantry of the Commonwealth, traditionally suffered from a lack of anti-tank capability. The M17 Tesla Cannon closed this gap: a compact system that could effectively engage both armored and soft targets. Operated by Galahad crews, it could be deployed far forward with the infantry - fundamentally distinguishing it from classic rear-echelon artillery. Its elaborate production limited its use to elite units.
