Product details

Background & context

In 1947 the Commonwealth's Galahad battalions were the elite in heavy armoured suits and still had a hole in their equipment: against tanks and walkers they lacked anything that a man could not carry himself. When the first towed Tesla weapons were running in the USA, London promptly secured access to the programme. The result did not go to the artillery in the rear but straight to the Galahads, who pushed it forward with their own line.

On the tabletop

In Konflikt '47 the towed M17 Tesla cannon gives the Commonwealth's Galahad battalions the heavy anti-tank firepower they otherwise lack. It fights tanks and walkers but can also fire on infantry. Because its three crew figures wear the heavy Galahad armour themselves, you can push the gun forward with your own infantry instead of leaving it far behind. That way it backs up your Galahads wherever enemy vehicles try to break through.
