Product details

Background & context

AK Interactive's RC Markers range brings the felt-tip principle to the modelling hobby: quick, clean and with no airbrush at all. This set brings together chipping and wear colours and is aimed particularly at beginners and at experienced modellers who want to lay in individual details quickly. For whole models the markers are no substitute for classic brush or airbrush painting, but as a tool for details and basecoats they make life a good deal easier.

On the tabletop

These markers let you add paint damage to vehicles and other objects. First dab small dark spots of Chipping Color onto edges, hatches and handles where the paint would have worn off. Then add a little Dark Aluminium or Aluminium into the larger spots so the bare metal underneath shows through. Less is more here: individual dots look more convincing than large damaged areas.
