Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

This gift set lets you build the four aircraft types of the 1940 Battle of Britain in 1:72: the Spitfire Mk.Ia and Hurricane Mk.I on the British side, the Bf 109 E-3 and the He 111 P-2 bomber on the German side. Acrylic paints, polystyrene cement and a brush are included, along with instructions showing the colour schemes and the decals. The stand holds all four models in flight, for example as a bomber with its fighter escort meeting the RAF interceptors. At skill level 3 the box suits modellers who already have a few builds behind them.
