    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The Whitley Mk.V flew over Germany from the first night of the war, first dropping leaflets and then bombing targets in Germany and Italy by night. The 1:72 kit comprises 152 parts, and the finished model spans 356 mm. The decals let you build an aircraft of No. 102 Squadron from 1940 or one of No. 10 Squadron from 1941, both based in Yorkshire. As a display model it represents the bombers of the early war years, and in a diorama it stands on a 4 Group airfield.
