Description

Not a pure black but the slightly greyish, dull black of old rubber. Rubber Black makes tyres, road wheels and hoses look more real than a deep black does and still stays dark enough on the model.

Product details

Background & context

The 3rd Generation Acrylics are AK Interactive's water-based standard acrylic range for figures, vehicles and terrain - matt, with good coverage and made for both brush and airbrush.

On the tabletop

Rubber Black is a dull, slightly greyish black reminiscent of old rubber. Use it to colour tyres, rubber rims on road wheels, hoses and seals. Next to deep black, the shade looks more natural on the model and sets rubber parts apart from black-painted metal parts. Add dust and dirt on top afterwards with pigments.
