Description

Four shades conceived as a ladder: from Burnt Umber in the shadows through Middle Stone and Dunkelgelb to the light Pastel Yellow on the edges. With them you modulate a vehicle instead of painting it flat.

Product details

On the tabletop

This set lets you paint dark yellow German vehicles using the modulation technique. Each panel gets a gradient: put Burnt Umber in the lower and hidden areas, Middle Stone over it as the base, dark yellow on the upper parts of the panels and Pastel Yellow on the highest points. That makes the model look more three-dimensional. For larger models, mix intermediate shades from two neighbouring colours.
