Description

Gunmetal is so called because that is exactly what it looks like: blued steel with a dark sheen. Heller puts the shade into a 12 ml jar as a water-based metallic acrylic paint, for everything made of gun steel.

Product details

On the tabletop

Gunmetal Metallic is a dark steel shade with a slight sheen that recalls blued gun steel. Use it for rifle barrels, machine guns, cannon barrels, tracks and engine parts. Over the dried paint you can add a little silver on edges so worn spots shine brighter. A black wash then deepens joints and recesses.
