Description

Gloss black has two jobs: as a smooth undercoat it lets decals sit without silvered edges and makes metallic shades glow more strongly, and it paints boots, helmets and carriages black as if freshly polished. Heller Acrylic Colour 021, 12 ml in the jar.

Product details

On the tabletop

Black Gloss is a glossy black for surfaces that should look polished, such as boots, helmets, leather straps or carriages. Because it dries smooth, it also makes a good base for waterslide decals, which lie flat on it without trapped air. Under metallic paints it brings out the shine better. For matt areas, use a flat black instead.
