Product details

Background & context

Die Pike beherrschte die Schlachtfelder des 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts.

On the tabletop

Twenty metal pikes, each 80 mm long, replace the thick plastic shafts on your pikemen. In the 16th and 17th centuries pike blocks covered the musketeers while they reloaded and kept cavalry at bay, and on the table such a block is recognised above all by the length of its pikes. The metal shafts are thinner than moulded ones and survive the trip in the army case. Cut the old pike off at the hand and glue the new one in place.
