Background & context

The grenadiers of the French Line Infantry were among Napoleon's elite units and formed the backbone of his Grande Armée between 1805 and 1812. Recognizable by their distinctive bearskin caps and elaborately adorned uniforms, they were considered formidable shock troops on the battlefields of Europe. From Austerlitz and Jena to the invasion of Russia, these soldiers shaped the military success of the First Empire. Their discipline, fighting spirit, and equipment made them a symbol of Napoleonic warfare at its peak.

On the tabletop

In 54 mm scale you get 16 French grenadiers of 1805 to 1812, multi-part with separate heads and arms. That lets you put together every pose yourself, with an officer and a drummer leading the group.
