Background & context

The M151 was the successor to the M38 and M38A1 light vehicles, and was widely used in US services starting in the early 1960s. The M151A1C variant carried an M40 106mm recoilless rifle on a pedestal mount and transported ammunition and tools for this weapon. This offered light units a highly mobile anti-tank solution. The small size made the vehicle agile, but as an unarmored platform, it remained vulnerable.

The M151A1C carries an M40 106 mm recoilless rifle and gives your US force in the Vietnam War mobile anti-tank firepower on wheels. It has no armour, so it fires from good cover and then changes position. It suits reconnaissance units and convoy escort. You mount the weapon on its pedestal or set it up dismounted, and a driver, a radio, a loader, a gunner and an officer are included.
