Background & context

On the tabletop

Eight elongated 25 x 50 mm bases with a raised rim sit on one frame. The format follows the outline of a horse and is the common size when riders move across the table individually rather than in blocks. Striding poses and other models that are longer than they are wide also stand securely on them. Once the groundwork is done, you paint the rim in one pass and your model gets a clean edge.
