Sowjetische Streitkräfte waren im Zweiten Weltkrieg vor allem an der Ostfront prägend und wurden durch markante Hoheitszeichen wie den roten Stern visuell erkennbar. Solche Symbole erschienen auf Fahrzeugen, Flugzeugen und Ausrüstung und werden im Tabletop häufig zur Fraktionszuordnung genutzt. Das Würfeltray ist kein historischer Ausrüstungsgegenstand, sondern ein thematisches Spielzubehör für Partien mit sowjetischem oder ostfrontbezogenem Schwerpunkt.
