    Beschreibung

    The M4A3E8 Sherman Easy Eight was a late M4 Sherman with HVSS suspension, wider tracks, and a 76mm gun. The plastic model kit includes the tank, gaming accessories, instructions, decals for US and Canadian vehicles, and damage markers, and is suitable for representing various 76mm Shermans.

    The first Easy Eights were introduced in December 1944 and saw action in the Battle of the Bulge. Thanks to its improvements, the vehicle remained in service even after World War II.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The M4A3E8 Sherman Easy Eight was officially known as the M4A3(76)W HVSS and received its nickname from US soldiers. Its main improvements were the HVSS chassis, wider tracks, a welded hull, and a 76mm high-velocity gun. The first vehicles were introduced in December 1944 and saw action in time for the fighting in the Ardennes. More than 2,500 Easy Eights were built in World War II; the type later remained in service in Korea and Vietnam.
