    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    As World War II progressed, Japanese troops found themselves increasingly cut off from supplies and equipment by Allied bombing and ground campaigns. With firearms and ammunition becoming ever scarcer, many soldiers resorted to sharpened bamboo poles as close-quarters weapons. Their fanatical code of honor and unconditional loyalty to the Emperor drove these men to desperate Banzai charges-a tactic that both astonished and horrified Allied soldiers.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    This squad is particularly suited for narrative late-war scenarios in the Pacific, where Japanese forces continue resistance despite a hopeless situation. In the game, they represent regular infantry without ranged weapons - their strength lies in aggressive melee attacks and Banzai Charge actions. Tactically valuable as a diversionary unit or for scenario-specific last-stand missions.
