    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Stables and small outbuildings were integral parts of many Norman farmsteads. During the fighting in Normandy, such structures became sources of cover, observation points, and obstacles in cramped farmyards. The dovecote gives the set a distinctly rural character, setting it apart from generic ruins. As a combination of an intact outbuilding and a destructible main building, it is well-suited for battles in already contested villages.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The Stable and Dovecote can be used as a farm flank, small objective area, or scattered cover in a village street. The main building can accommodate an infantry squad, while the outbuilding breaks lines of sight and secures movement routes. The ruined option of the main building is particularly well suited for Normandy scenarios, where shelling, building damage, and contested farmyards are to be depicted.
