    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    High stone walls and enclosed courtyards reinforced the already fragmented structure of Normandy. In conjunction with hedges, buildings, and narrow paths, they made movements difficult to predict and favored defensive positions. Walls with gates are particularly interesting because, on the one hand, they block access, and on the other hand, they allow for targeted breakthroughs. As a terrain piece, this wall fits well with farmhouses, village centers, and fortified farm entrances on the Western Front.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The tall stone wall blocks lines of sight, creates choke points, and forms a strong defensive position in Bolt Action. The movable gate allows for scenarios involving controlled access, ambushes, or breakthrough attempts. Infantry receives full cover behind the wall, vehicles receive hard cover, and the set is particularly suitable for enclosing courtyards, road barriers, and defended access routes in Normandy engagements.
