    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Coach houses, sheds, and small animal stalls were part of the everyday farm architecture of Normandy. In the fighting after the landing, such outbuildings often became just as important as the large residential houses because they broke sightlines and channeled movement through courtyards. A coach house, in particular, acts as a link between everyday agricultural life and a tactical terrain feature. Together with the chicken coop, it creates a credible outbuilding ensemble for farms typical of the Western Front.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The Coach House can be used as walkable cover for an infantry squad or a small vehicle. The Chicken Coop complements the main building as a lower side element that breaks lines of sight, secures flanks, and delays movement across a yard. On the tabletop, the set works particularly well as part of a farm, as an intermediate objective, or as additional cover in tight Normandy village skirmishes.
