    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Canadian Military Pattern trucks were built in large numbers in Canada to British Army specifications. They served the forces of the British Commonwealth and were also supplied to the Soviet Union. Rubicon lists deployments in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, on the Eastern Front, in Burma, the Philippines, Northwest Europe, and during the Western Allied advance into Germany, among others. The CMP specification was versatile and formed the basis for numerous truck and armored vehicle types.
