Mathieu's Taverne isn't some anonymous mail-order giant, but an owner-run specialist shop for the tabletop hobby. Here one person takes care of everything - and that person is me.
It all started out of my own passion for the tabletop hobby. What began as "I'll just order a bit for myself and a few fellow players" grew over time into a proper specialist shop. What's stayed is the attitude behind it: I do this because I love the hobby myself, not because a spreadsheet tells me to.
In practice that means: I add every item myself, I answer your messages myself, I pack your parcel myself. No call centre, no canned text, no AI replies - just the same person from your first question to the finished, packed box.

I play and paint myself. If you're stuck - which Starter Set, which paint, which scale - just ask me. You'll get an honest answer from someone who lives the hobby, not a sales pitch.

Packed personally, with a little extra
I pack every order myself, carefully and securely - and toss in a little goody, maybe a brush, some paint or an accessory. Just a thank-you for buying from a small shop.
